Essential Questions:
How do you adapt your voice, both written and verbally, to your audience?
Daily Agenda:
Monday: Using WeVideo.com, you will be creating a video review for a product. Any product, any place, any piece of media--the world is your oyster.
Before we create the video review, you need to get it writing. Your review will consist of three elements.
1. Summary: Without opinion, introduce me to your "product." You may need research. If that's the case, put in the work so I understand what you're telling me about.
2. Opinions and observations: Think of it in pieces. For instance, if you are reviewing a clothing store, it would be beneficial to give insights on customer service, customer experience, and the product they sell.
3. Recommendation: You're creating this for a teenage audience, so you need to give them insight. Is this "product" for them or not? Is it only for some of them? Be clear and be honest.
You must turn in a written review before you can even get cracking on the video.
Tuesday: Review writing workshop.
Wednesday: Review writing workshop.
Thursday: Introduction to WeVideo.com. (I sure hope you have your written review done!)
